Ant Farm

So I recently got an Ant Farm, don't ask me why, I just did. It's only been one day and I've been watching them dig like crazy. Instead of making tunnels, these harvester ants have decided to dig a small pocket out of the sides instead.

Also notice the graveyard on the lower right where they buried the one dead ant that did not survive the US Postal Service.

That's all I have to say about that...

Do Your Own Taxes

If you don't know how to file your own taxes (and are over 18), shame on you! There are many companies that will make it pretty easy assuming you have all your paperwork ready.

I found one that will let you efile Federal and State for just $12! I just did mine in about an hour.

Click this link to get the discounted price.

No! I don't get any kickbacks but I am simply sharing this with you because its a good deal and I am a big proponent of doing your own taxes instead of paying someone $300 to do it for you.

Staying Young...

As we grow older and (supposedly) more mature, I think it's vitally important that we hang onto that childish sense of wonder and amazement at all things awesome. For example, I've got 300 of these babies coming in the mail. Just because you're "old" now, it doesn't mean you can't pay your mortgage or health insurance with some Batman checks. Am I right?

Sweet huh?

SNOW DAY PART TWO!

So I woke up this morning and called the base hotline. THEY CLOSED BASE SO WE ALL DIDN'T HAVE TO WORK! Sweet huh?

Check out how much snow built up in my backyard:

My footsteps were pretty deep:

I figured I better take a picture of my house like this since it won't happen again for another 20 years. One of my friend's neighbors said the last time it snowed this much was 1984.

In case y'all didn't know, my house is at the edge of civilization. It's pretty cool though. This is the view from the end of my street.

And one shot trying to be artistic, depicting the icicles forming from my roof.

That's all I have to say about that...

SNOW DAY!!!

So since I grew up in Southern California, I've never gotten a snow day at school. But today we got one at work! They sent us all home halfway thru the day. Check out these pictures!

So its 4:00pm and theres already 3-4" on the ground. Maybe by tonight we'll get a foot of snow and we won't have to go to work tomorrow either!!!

Ok back to playing outside...

That's all I have to say about that...
